Just got these chairs to replace others we had for at least 20 years. Amazingly the construction looks the same as the ones we are replacing. They came fully assembled and nicely boxed. One of the chairs had a small chip missing at the top of one of the back spindles. I dont think it happened in the shipping. I think it was overlooked at the factory. For the price they are well made and seem sturdy. I touched up the blemish and am pleased with them.

UPDATE: These chairs were $69 when I initially purchased them. Since then, the price has gone up significantly. My *inexpensive* comment may not apply, but the rest of the review stands.These are inexpensive, very sturdy and good looking chairs. I selected 4 of these chairs to match a table that I have. After searching locally, I was unable to find a set of chairs to match the table. My goto website, Amazon.com., has yet to fail me in hard-to-find items, and with a few keywords, I found the exact chairs that matched my table. Free Shipping with Amazon Prime is great.These chairs are well built, and I am not a small person. The paint and finish appear very durable for mass production chairs.One of the chairs I ordered was damaged by the shipper. Returning the chair to Amazon was a cinch; I set up the return online, and I had my replacement BEFORE I had shipped the damaged chair back to Amazon (and at no cost to me other than a little packing tape). How awesome is that?

Looking at my Amazon account today, on the write a review page, I noticed that they have these, Winsome Wood Windsor Chairs, that I purchased maybe 10 years ago, and I must say, that I am still using them today, still look as good as the day that they were purchased, they seem comfortable, sturdy,. Very happy with these chairs.

We have an old table & chairs and one chair broke so we needed a replacement. These are almost an exact match, except ours have 1 cross piece on the bottom, these have two. They come completely assembled unlike some others. The one drawback is they say 250lb weight limit. That seems low. Target had some very similar ones with a 300lb limit. Hopefully they hold up. Another review commented the legs are beveled so they are flat to the floor... seems they've stopped doing that as mine are not flat & I can't get pads to stay on them; might have to take the power sander to 'em.

We're very pleased with these chairs. They were much better than we were expecting them to be. We're using them next to a desk, and everyone who has sat on them has found them to be very comfortable. They look as if they cost more than they did.

We needed to replace a couple chairs that were wobbly and unsafe. There are very few shopping options where we live, but I gave it a go and only found a few expensive chairs that were nothing like I wanted. After wasting time driving around town, I found these chairs on Amazon and ordered them immediately. They were delivered right away and are really perfect. For a plain, wooden kitchen chair at a great price, I couldn't be happier.

i bought 2 of these chairs to replace a similar looking chair set that fell apart. they literally fell apart while being sat on. very embarrassing. i now have a set of 4 of these chairs. they are sturdy and solid. comfortable and attractive. glad i bought them. no more broken chairs.

I ordered 2 sets ( a total of 4 chairs.) 2 of the chairs are great. Exactly as pictured and fully assembled. When I contacted Amazon about the other two which were unassembled and a different style which was inferior in design and construction, they gave me a full refund without me even needing to return the product. Way to go, Amazon!

When the chair arrived, it was a poor quality better homes and gardens chair. This is not correct and exactly what I was trying to avoid. The Winsome Wood chairs (as received in the past) are fantastic.

I paid a premium price for this set of chairs because the listingsaid “FULLY ASSEMBLED” and it is not. I either have to hire a handymanto assemble or pay for return shipping. I found the cost was the same and afterMisleading statements on the listing I cannot trust them to send a refund.

I wouldn't recommend these chairs. I guess you get what you pay for in that one of them must have been defective and the leg broke after my 45 pound child sat on it. Now I have one broken chair and another that I have no idea if it has the same defect or not. It would cost too much to return and not sure I want to take the chance again.

Absolutely delighted with these chairs. They are exactly what I needed to go with a round drop leaf breakfast table. Good construction and the price was RIGHT. At a later date I will be ordering two more chairs in the solid wood tone (no white). Also the packaging was exceptional and there was no damage to either chair. Very impressed!!!

These are solid chairs. I am very happy with them. They are a bit smaller than a regular Windsor, but that's what I wanted. I couldn't believe the top quality for the price. Good choice.

Used the chairs for a kitchen table because they matched our two other chairs. It was relatively easy to assemble until I got to the last step and couldn’t hammer in the legs all the way into the slots, as directed. I had to get someone else to do the last step. I wish they came fully assembled!

I bought a table and 4 chairs set many years ago which was oak and white and extremely good quality. I have been wanting a 6 chair set for a few years now, but with the economy just couldn't afford a good quality one. I opted to buy 2 more chairs and began the search for chairs that were the closest match to what I had. I searched Amazon and compared all of the oak and white ones and took the chance on the Winsome Wood Windsor Chair which came in Natural and White finish, set of two...what could be better! We'll it was a chance worth taking! They are just about a perfect match and are very good quality. I don't think anyone would notice they are not the originals! They arrived promptly and in great condition. There may have been a few smudges in the paint, but I figured they are going to get dinged and nicked after a while anyway. There is no way to avoid that with painted chairs. I am very happy with this purchase which couldn't come at a better time with the holidays just around the corner. I would not hesitate to order from Amazon in the future and would recommend them to anyone looking for good quality, fast service and free shipping...again what could be better!
