The sphere form and cylinder firm comes out perfect. The mega cubes don’t work as well and the ice is very cloudy and misshaped often. For cubes I recommend the standard silicon ones. But you can’t beat the sphere and cylinder forma from this brand. My favorite way to make spheres is with this brand.

Great little addition to the "Home Bar" scene. Easy, no mess, Big square ice cubes.Instructions state 4-6 hours and that is pretty accurate. Have had mixed results with various techniques to get them crystal clear... but that is not a fault of the product.

These are good molds, reasonably clear ice, but cloudy is to be expected. Only way to get the crystal clear as with special equipment and processes, I went into this knowing that and I'm happy with the end result. Fill level indicator works well.

Easy to use and makes great large format ice. As the bottom is made of hard plastic, take care after freezing as it will be more fragile, but the ice usually pulls out with the silicone portion. If you don't boil the water it will have air inside, so if you're looking for crystal clear ice lookup how to do that and DON'T blame the mold. We've been enjoying these molds a lot!

I got these for my husband. He had seen giant ice cubes at a bar or restaurant and thought they'd be cool to use in drinks at home. The product is really nice quality and it's straightforward on how to use it. The cubes were a little snug going into our glasses, but once you pour your drink over the cube it was fine. I thinking running the cube very briefly under cool water would also do the trick. I looked at the Tovolo 2 inch version (the 6 cube tray) in person at a store, and that confirmed that I wanted this "colassal" version. The 2 inch ones didn't have the right "giant cube in a whiskey" look we were after. The cube really lasts a long time. This is going to be my new go-to host/hostess gift when going to parties.

Tovolo ice molds do an exceptional job at creating accurate ice shapes while also being easy to remove.Make sure to check the measurements before you buy as these cubes may be too large for your glasses.

I love the ice cubes that I get from these molds. I use them when making my Iced Coffee and Iced Mocha Lattes. The design is great and the ice does not melt as much as normal ice cubes do, so I do not get watered-down coffee drinks. My friends love them when drinking soda; again it keeps the soda cool, and not watered down. A PLUS is that we don't need as much ice in our drinks as we normally do because of the rate they melt. I have different sized drinking cups/glasses so the larger size does not bother me. For the other people commenting that these cubes are too large for their glass; just use the proper size glass and the problem is null. Just be careful not to drop a frozen mold on the floor; it will break! Make sure to buy more than 2 as you will certainly want them.

I purchased a couple different ice cube molds, but this one I would give a zero stars. On this big cube maker, I find it’s difficult to get the cube out of the mold. Don’t buy, bad design and cube doesn’t come out wo pounding on granite countertop to only have the cube break into 30 pieces ***Do not buy this, you will not be happy w this cube maker****. There are other better alternatives on this site.

Too big for our glasses. Need to run water to melt down a little, but once melted a little to fit glass, they are perfect to keep drinks cold without diluting

These things are built like a tank. The engineering is amazing. But, they are huge! The ice block doesn’t fit into any glass known to mankind. Lol.

Very well made, very cool to put a giant square of ice in a glass or cup. One note, these are giant cubes, have to have a glass that will accept a giant square of ice. Easy to use. Very easy, fill to the line, insert the lid tight, freeze, run a little warm water, not too hot the ice will crack, and lift the lid, voila.. giant ice cube. Oh, and if you want completely clear ice, I've done both distilled water, and twice boiled water, let cool then freeze.

I have purchased many other brands of ice molds, they all have fallen short of performing as expected. NOT this set! Bought these as a Christmas present for the hubby and they are AWESOME. The ice freezes uniformly, there is no breaking apart when you open up the mold and the ice stays frozen through at least two whole drinks.

These are some great little molds. If your are a scotch or whiskey drinker these are for you! They do a great job of chilling your beverage without watering it down too much. They are very simple to use. I recommend using distilled water if you want super clear ice. Tap water seems to make cloudy ice cubes for whatever reason. These are also great when you have company, my friends were all very impressed when i gave them their drinks!
