Introducing the vacuum jug from Stelton (Stelton), a Danish stainless steel manufacturer founded in the 1960s. Designed by Eric Magnussen in 1977, this vacuum jug has been a long-selling product throughout the world since its launch. The simple cylindrical design does not take up much space, simply place it on a table to add style to your space. It is not only designed but also functional. Thermos construction and spouts with two different stoppers for different purposes. It comes in two ways: a convenient locker stopper that automatically opens and closes just by tilting or turning the jug vertically and a screw-on picnic stopper that is perfect for transporting or keeping your drink hot or cold. Hold the handle and pour your drink with one hand, so you will want to keep it on your side while working at your desk or work. You can easily disassemble the parts when cleaning it. Uses double walled glass bottles with high heat and cold retention. The bottle inside the jug is a thermos type with double walled glass. Picnic stopper keeps hot and cold drinks warm over 40 degrees in 24 hours and over 60 degrees in 10 hours. Store hot and cold drinks for year-round use

This item came with others but unfortunately it was badly packaged and the interior glass container was smashed on delivery. I ordered a second one from elsewhere and that was extremely well packaged.The jug came with safety instructions but no other instructions other than to avoid putting boiling water directly into it and to not use abrasive cleaners on the glass.As far as I can see, once you have put the lid on, you can't get it off again without turning the whole thing upside down. I don't know what the little knob is on the outside but presume it is for replacing the vacuum glass. There is an alternative stopper that completely seals the jug and you are advised to use it when there are small children around.OK it looks the biz and it keeps the coffee hot for a reasonable amount of time. You don't have to do anything other than just pour in order to extract the coffee, once the jug has been filled. It is easy to extract the lid once the flask is empty. I would have liked a grip handle on the top of the jug to enable one to remove the top when the jug is full of hot coffee.Overall my wife and I are pleased with it. However, in view of the fact that it is fragile and the whole thing is expensive, we would hesitate to take it on a picnic.

Lange habe ich überleg mir diese Kanne zuzulegen. Tolles Design und hält sehr lange warm!!! Ich bin begeistert und würde sie jederzeit wieder kaufen.10.02.2015Vor einiger Zeit begann die Kanne zu tropfen. Dann merkte ich, das Tee in dem Zwischenraum von Innenteil und Außenhülle war, dabei habe ich dann alles gründlich gereinigt (war ziemlich bäh). Alles wieder ordentlich zusammengebaut. Nach einigen Tagen begann das Tropfen erneut und wurde täglich stärker. Und Tee ist auch wieder im Zwischenraum.Schade, Kanne ist nicht mehr nutzbar. Bin sehr enttäuscht und werde keine Stelton mehr kaufen.
