I would not recommend this item! I bought for a birthday gift , birthday was yesterday, April 30 2021. He opened it the wire was broken, tried to put a new wire on very hard to assemble. Handle wobbly and does not workI went to return today, but is says I can not return as the cutoff date for returning is Passed. I purchased in February as a birthday gift!!I am not impressed at all !!

Gave it as a gift and they said it was life changing. Cuts beautifully. We checked it before giving it and one of the slicing wires was broken so used replacement and gave it anyway.

The wire was broken before I opened the box. I had to use the replacement. Everything else is decent other than that. Cutting cheese is finally not annoying. The cutting process is very smooth.

These wire cutter cheese boards on a marble base are great. I had my first one for a decade and it finally wore out. Bought 2 more as gifts. Very happy to find a new one. I buy the replacement wires which prolongs the life of these slicers. I recommend hand washing after each use and tip it over to air dry fully to get it to last. Don't leave it soaking for hours in the sink, it can effect the mechanism. Capable of slicing very thin slices of cheese.

Marble chipped in several places. The handle is wobbling and making a squeecking sound when you move it. In addition it's not at all black it's dark gray. Very disappointed with this product.

Cutting wire broke and tried to replace and handle departed from insert, Super Glue Handle and having a Very Hard go at tightening handle, so that cutting wire is Tight and handle is parallel to board surface. So this deign flaw is been Returned.
