We purchased these online after looking at them in-store. They were significantly less expensive than the department store price. We have really liked these pots and pans. They seem to get or stay hotter when on high heat (we have a glass cook top) than our previous set of inexpensive T-Fal pans. I love the pasta strainer, but am trying to find the water level sweet spot, where the pasta is covered, but it doesn't boil over between the two pots.

and I like them well enough to give them as a gift. Word of caution though, they do not fare well in the dishwasher. They are quite heavy and the handles are less than comfortable to hold when there is any significant load in the vessel. Still, they heat evenly and are easy on a ceramic cook top. Attend to what you are cooking in them because scrubbing off burned-on food can result in damage to the finish. You might wonder why 4 stars...they cook evenly and are easy on a ceramic cooktop...OH!!! and you can use them in the oven...so if you are cooking a dish that goes from the cooktop to being finished in the oven, this set will accommodate your recipe.

I was always a bit of a Calphalon snob with my cookware. My father cooks even more than me, though, and was very happy with this set that I bought for him last year. So when it was time to replace some of my pieces I gave these a try.Have had them for two months and I am very happy with them. The small pot that can fit the steamer basket is great for a medium batch of veggies or a larger batch of shrimp. My dad also uses it to steam tamales. The small fry pan is great for an omelet or a couple of eggs, and the small saucepan is great for soup or gravy. I definitely am more careful with these to protect the nonstick coating (my calphalon pans do not have they, they're all older hard-anodized w/out nonstick) so I feel like I can be a bit harder on those.But very happy with this set so far, and a pretty substantial cost savings. Moving forward I would probably stick with larger sets of this type and have a few of the more burly calphalon pieces to round out my cookware needs.

If you are expecting some super-heavy, gourmet kitchen grade stuff then keep on looking. If you are looking for a set to replace the current crappy, scratched and disfigured set you currently have but don't want to drop $500+ bucks then this set will do nicely. They seem to be well constructed if not a little on the light=-weight side. The upside is they don't way a ton. The coating so far is resilient - we are not careful AT ALL and always use metal utensils.If you don't really care about appearances and just need a set of pot/pans that should last a couple of years then this set should fit you fine.

I purchased this set about 10 months ago and everything has been positive for the most part.The only real hang up I had is that the 3 qt sauce pan was slightly warped upon arrival. So the steam insert or lid doesn't create a complete seal. Of course this is the piece I use the most.All of the other pot/pan lid combinations work fine.Like everyone else says, they are easy to clean. They're also very easy to scratch, so you should only ever use wood or plastic utensils.So all in all, it's a worthwhile set. You just need to make sure and care for them.

I love the set they are heavy duty and non stick that fried eggs and cheese with out nonstick spray - slide out of the pan I was just disappointed that the nonstick material is another word for Teflon,,lucky I will not use on the 500* if I can help it so hoping the fumes are not released and they seem to be strong enough to last I like the lifetime warranty also

I recently picked up a set of this cookware after searching around for a suitable replacement to my older, worn-out stuff. Cuisinart has a great reputation and Amazon was offering a sweet price, so I tried it out. I am so glad I did. This is the best cookware I have ever used, although admittedly I've never tried the super-high-end professional stuff.The aluminum core provides excellent cooking qualities, such as rapid, even heating. The anodized exterior and titanium-reinforced non-stick interior are designed for durability. All of the pans have a heavy, solid heft to them, and are exceedingly easy to clean. I have enjoyed very pleasing results so far, and look forward to more. This is definitely an excellent value.

I spent a great deal of time reading up on the different types of cookware before making my final choice.After tracking prices for approx 4 weeks I chose the Cuisinart 66-14 Chef's Classic Nonstick Hard-Anodized 14-Piece Cookware Set from Amazon.com.I paid $149.99 with free shipping, the prices here in Atlanta ranged from $169 to over $200.I have had this set for over two months now and love it, it is easy to clean, nothing sticks to it and it looks great hanging from my pot rack.Some reviewers complained of damaged items when removing the items from the shipping box, every piece in my box was quality wrapped and covered in cardboard to protect it.Thank you Cuisinart!
