Didnt want to write a negative review but I feel this bread bin is so flimsy. Find if hard to open the bin when there is a loaf blocking it at the back from opening smoothly. It gets stuck every morning. Even with one loaf in the bin. Very annoying. I wouldnt have purchased if I knew this would be the case.

can fit a loaf and half of warburtons bread in it. just need a quick wipe with a damp cloth and its clean.

It looks fine but it does not keep your bread fresh. After only 1 day or less my bread becomes rock hard. Would not buy again. Unfortunately it is too late to send it back and request a refund now.Also there is no email address for customer service available anywhere to contact them.Apparently the best way to keep bread fresh is a linen storage bag.

For the price of this item one would think the manufacturer would have addressed the problem that it slides all over the work surface as the lid is lifted and lowered. A couple of strips of soft foam would solve it. Going to have to buy some myself.

Lid seems pretty flimsy. You usually associate brabantia with solid, well-made items and this feels a little cheap. Another (minor) issue was that considering it's generally going to be placed on top of a smooth kitchen worktop, there aren't any rubber feet supplied with the bin so every time you use it, you end up chasing it around the kitchen. I stuck a couple of rubber strips to the bottom and it sorted the problem, but you expect these kinda things to have been dealt with in the design stage.Apart from that, it has a decent capacity and looks smart enough.
